Tim Phelps, a third-generation carpenter, spent over 20 years working in the North Carolina colonial coastal area before founding Tim Phelps & Co. in January of 1999 with wife, Debra.  Since then, we've been gaining respect by building high-quality new homes and custom renovations in the area.  For historical renovations, our team of experienced professionals uses materials and techniques mandated by preservation societies.  In addition, we also revamp many contemporary homes.

Tim Phelps & Co. is also a respected name in new residential and commercial construction.  Many custom homes we've built incorporate traditional and colonial elements, such as hardwood flooring, clapboard and brick exteriors and classic Southern style.
